This french style butter keeper allows you to keep your butter out of the refrigerator without worrying about it going bad. Pack butter or margarine firmly in top. Put approximately 1″ of water in base and insert top into base. The water will make a seal so the butter will stay fresh and you can leave it out at room temperature so it will remain soft. Just change the water every 3 or 4 days. Our butter keeper will fit one stick of butter and keep it fresh for 3 to 4 weeks.
